A Precise Home Inspection was founded in 2007, just before Lance Hayward separated from the Air Force. Lance knew that he wanted to help people, and after purchasing multiple homes throughout his military career he knew exactly how he wanted to do that. He wanted to provide a level of service that was unseen in the home inspection industry. By providing his 20+ years of Engineer experience and his deep commitment to customer satisfaction, A Precise Home Inspection was quickly the #1 home inspection company in the Colorado Springs area. Over the years, the team has grown and the level of service has raised the bar for home inspection companies. To this day, they are one of the only home inspection companies around that build the report during the inspection, and deliver it before they leave the home. It is A Precise Home Inspection’s mission to help Colorado home buyers find safe and comfortable homes for their families.

When I got there ten minutes early, he was already there, his equipment unpacked and working on the exterior of the house. He was thorough and extremely patient with the zillion questions I asked and explained everything clearly. I got results before we left the house. Tom, who scheduled my appointment, was also very professional and helpful. He was able to schedule me quickly, which was great because I had a short time frame to get it done. Tom’s the reason I booked the appointment with Precise in the first place, but it doesn’t hurt that they were the cheapest of the 5 companies I called. All around, I could not have asked for a better experience.

Scheduling was easy and fast. Inspector was on time andeand thorough. We had the report in a couple of hours and it was easy to access and download. We received constant communication from Precise for each step. Thank you for making a long distance house purchase a bit easier!

I’ve used a ton of home inspectors over the last few years, but this last experience with Shawn and Precise home inspections needed to be noted. Extremely thorough, extremely professional, and also kept the clients best interests at the fore front throughout. Highly recommend these guys to everyone else in the industry to refer to their clients, or use on their own personal contracts!
