A Precise Home Inspection was founded in 2007, just before Lance Hayward separated from the Air Force. Lance knew that he wanted to help people, and after purchasing multiple homes throughout his military career he knew exactly how he wanted to do that. He wanted to provide a level of service that was unseen in the home inspection industry. By providing his 20+ years of Engineer experience and his deep commitment to customer satisfaction, A Precise Home Inspection was quickly the #1 home inspection company in the Colorado Springs area. Over the years, the team has grown and the level of service has raised the bar for home inspection companies. To this day, they are one of the only home inspection companies around that build the report during the inspection, and deliver it before they leave the home. This is our third home purchase, and we have never received such a detailed report before. I feel like any and every issue that we might find was in the report. Great work! Also, I received estimates for 4 different places and this was $50 to $200 cheaper. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Fully digital and quick turn around. Highly recommend them for new or existing home inspections. Fair pricing. Personable staff. Shawn was great, and Tom the Owner was accommodating and flexible with our last minute scheduling change.

Shawn with A Precise Home Inspection was so thorough and did an amazing job with our home inspection and septic scope. I called to schedule the inspection and was given an appointment within 2 days. Shawn arrived on time and explained everything he would be doing outside before moving inside. He took the time to allow me to show him and explain what major concerns I had in mind. We have about 5500 sq foot home and it took him close to 5 hours to complete. Once he was finished he went through the entire report with me and my husband on the phone. Shawn payed such close attention to detail he didn’t miss anything, and everything he found was true issues with our new build home. The inspection report was so good, the builder-who has to fix these issues, even said he has never seen such a well written report. There are pictures with each issue and some even had videos, there were thermal pictures as well. Under each issue there was a brief summary on what was wrong. The report also is listed in 3 colors, to help identify serious/major concerns, moderate concerns, and those that need attention. I would highly recommend this company and would only use them if I needed another inspection in the future. This is a company that does their job 100%, who are professional and provide excellent well written reports. As a bonus, I had a question that I had to email Shawn about after the report and .
