Alpine Home Inspection

Craig performed a home inspection for us. We have ordered a few home inspections before and Craig was very thorough and detailed. He took down pictures of everything he noted and his report was easy to track and figure out what needed to be done by the seller versus good to know and a “punch list” for us. On the day of the inspection he walked through all of his observations and gave details. I would gladly recommend him in the future.

Craig with Alpine Home Inspection came highly recommended to me when I was buying my first house and he did not disappoint! I was on a short closing deadline and Craig was able to work me into his schedule in a very reasonable time frame. He showed up on time and was extremely thorough. I actually had a copy of a home inspection that was done by a different inspector on the same house only a few years prior and in comparing the two reports, it’s clear that Craig had much more of an eye for detail. Craig took a long time with me after the inspection to go through his findings point by point. Most importantly, he really helped provide context for how serious/ not serious his various findings were. The house was built in the 1920s and has not had any major remodels, so there were plenty of findings on the inspection that gave me pause. It was SO helpful to know which of those findings were out of the ordinary and which were par for the course for a house of that age in this area. He also made himself available for follow-up questions after the inspection, and I ended up relying heavily on some of his electrical expertise when I was negotiating final contract details with the seller. Craig’s inspection made me feel confident and clear-eyed during my home purchase and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thorough inspection of a prospective real estate purchase.
