He did a four point inspection, which I later found out that I did not need, there was a $149 fee for it, but he said he is going to reimburse me for it since I did not need it. He is a little unorganized, he is also a contractor and it seems that he did not have everything together. He wrote my email address down wrong when he was supposed to be emailing me the information, after I called and asked we found it was just a mistake on taking down the email address.

Bill showed up early and took his time performing a very thorough inspection of the home we are purchasing. He was very professional and explained everything as he went along. He had the report to me on the following Monday along with pictures. The report was very easy to read and the pictures were very clear with arrows pointing to issues along with a detailed explanation. I highly recommend Bill to anyone looking for a good quality inspector.

We debated getting an inspection on our house that the first owner has only been in for 10 months. There shouldn’t be anything wrong with a reasonably new home, right? We didn’t want any surprises after closing, so we hired Steve at Atlas Home Inspections to check it out. I was amazed at how thorough his inspection was. When I tried to start taking notes, he told me all of this information would be in the report he would send me. While there was nothing wrong with the house, Steve caught things the builder should have done right the first time. Steve’s inspection tour was also very informative. We have owned our previous home for 13 years, and Steve told us maintenance tips and information that I never knew. I am thrilled with Steve’s work and happy we decided to hire him. I am a first time home buyer and was buying from out of state, but Steve went way above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Not only was he gracious and flexible about scheduling, but he also FaceTimed me for an immediate walk through after the inspection and explained details in a way I could understand, offered to take me through again in person next time I was in town, reinspected fixes the seller made a few weeks later, and instructed me on how I could do some repairs myself. He offers more services and still charges less than a number of other places I got quotes from, plus he’s incredibly knowledgeable and kind–talk about amazing value. He is nice, thorough, communicative, and honest (without exaggerating the good or bad). I would absolutely trust him again and cannot recommend Atlas Home Inspections highly enough!

I won’t work with another. Steve is detailed oriented and very thorough. He made sure all my questions were answered at inspection. Steve has quick response times with any additional questions I’ve thought of after. Steve provided an organized & detailed report only hours after inspection for my records. Steve is an amazing example of great customer service. I would recommend Steve to any one for any home inspection needs.
