Base Home Inspections

I had to edit this review almost 9 months after their inspection after continuously finding more and more issues with my home that were not put in the inspection report. Their negligence has cost me thousands of dollars in repairs for issues that are obvious to every general contractor that has given me a quote. For example, our basement has water damage and many of the supporting beams are rotten and need to be replaced. Buyer beware!

Omar did a FANTASTIC job with our inspection. He was thorough and efficient, and didn’t miss a thing. His report was well-written, highlighted the home’s potential issues, and gave us a great foundation from which to start discussions with the sellers. Personally, he was also great with my toddler, who was very interested in Omar’s tools and work. We recently hired Omar for an inspection located in Verona. Because of scheduling issues we forgot to confirm the new date with Omar. On a Sunday Morning we called and asked him if he could make it and without hesitation Omar immediately started heading out to Verona, NJ. He arrived faster than we thought and got right to work. He had a drone and all the best equipment available today to perform the inspection. He went into crawl spaces, under the deck and walked the entire property line during the tank sweep to ensure it would never be an issue. He explained everything in detail and anything we didn’t know he taught us and provided us links on site for further understanding. More importantly even the seller was impressed by his final inspection report which has resulted in a major decrease in price on our best and final putting much needed funds back in our pocket. Omar came out within a couple days and performed a thorough check of the property even on a cold snowy winters day. Originally had an issue with the first scheduled inspection, as some parts of the home were not ready to be inspected.
