Dan did an amazing job. He is very professional and knowledgeable and explained everything so that I could understand easily. He took his time and did an excellent job. The inspection report was completed and in my email in a few hours. I definitely recommend him and will also recommend to family and friends and contact him for future inspection needs.
Jeff Rusinak was the inspector. As Follows: Very thorough- Dedicated- Professional. Took plenty of time to do a complete inspection with simple explanations of what was found done right, And what was wrong. I feel he went above and beyond for what seemed to be a competitive Price. R.Staniszewski
My husband and I are first time home buyers, and we used Castle Home Inspection. Evan and Jeff came out, and they were absolutely fabulous. They answered all my questions, explained the entire process as they went along, and even had recommendations! They were so personable and pleasant, I would absolutely recommend them to everyone I know! Thank you both!
The inspection report was emailed to us promptly with tons of photos to clearly show the issues found. I would recommend Castle Home Inspections!
They inspected a home I purchased in Cook County in December 2019. They missed multiple things that would have affected my decision in purchasing the home…inspector didn’t catch that the conduit for the main power coming into my home was not fully secured to the exterior of my home, didn’t catch shoddy electrical work in plain sight under sink (multiple issues with this – code was violated). Didn’t catch that the home had a 2″ PVC sump drain pipe extension OUTSIDE the home. I learned the hard way that it wouldn’t have frozen solid if it had been a 4″ drain pipe. They also missed a code violation in my garage – the entry door is missing a header. Didn’t catch the new concrete on front stoop was not level by over an inch. The thing I am most concerned and upset about is the dryer vent (or lack of). Inspector did not catch the dryer vent was covered over by exterior siding – this could have burned down my home with myself and 4 other family members. Moist air being vented into a wall is also a recipe for mold. Living in the house for 6 MONTHS before it was caught. The interesting part is the vent is in plain sight and had no ducting connected at time of inspection. I would not recommend this company. Similar reviews are being left for the contractor who flipped the home and the washer/dryer install company.
