Chester County Home Inspectors
Chester County Home Inspections is in business to arm buyers and sellers with information that will equip them to make an informed decision. Too many home buyers base their decision solely on emotion. They fall in love with a house and move forward without obtaining an unbiased assessment.
Ed exceeded all expectations- As first-time home buyers, we were eager to learn as much as we could about the condition of our future home, and thanks to Ed, we left the property feeling immensely more knowledgeable and confident. Ed was thorough, efficient, and most importantly, incredibly personable. He truly makes you feel like an integral part of the inspection process and will address any concerns that you have. No matter the question, Ed transformed into a human encyclopedia and imparted endless wisdom and tips to us as first-time home buyers. We left the property with not only an inspector recommendation for friends and family, but also with a new name to add to our future house warming party guest list!
Being a night shift nurse, I found myself searching for a home inspector at 2 am on a Sunday morning. I happened across the webpage for Chester County Home Inspections after googling a local inspector near my new home. The reviews are what inspired me to peruse the site, whereas the organization, ease of use, and readily available list of fees were what convinced me to stay. Throw in the fact that I could schedule online and I was sold, especially considering that I was on a deadline and I am usually asleep by business hours on Monday morning. Thursday rolls around and my type A personality has me there a few minutes before our scheduled time. Low and behold, Ed beats me there. Convenient and punctual; double win! Ed was thorough and knowledgeable as he walked and talked me through my new home, explaining all of its systems and areas of concern. He was happy to answer questions and offered up plenty of information as he worked, and all with a smile on his face (under his mask of course). Within two days, I had a written inspection report in hand. It was highly detailed with full explanations of problem areas, including pictures. It also listed level of concern along with suggested remediation to help guide the homeowner in how to tackle the issue. Overall, I cannot recommend Ed enough. He is knowledgeable, personable, and a pleasure to work with. He really put my mind at ease during this phase of the home buying process. Thank you Ed!
I highly recommend him for home buyers. He conducted a very detailed inspection, including wood/termite, water analysis, well certification, roof and radon testing. Also, gave good recommendations for stucco and septic tank inspectors. The final reports were easy to understand.
