City Inspection

We used City Inspection Inc for our home inspection. I was extremely impressed with how professional, knowledgeable, and friendly our inspector was (isaak). Our inspector, Isaak, was there early, was very thorough, and took the time to explain things to us and answer our questions. He provided us with a very well-written report within a day. The company has email and text reminders which is also helpful. I would highly recommend this company 🙂

We are first time homebuyers and he did an extremely thorough job of investigating all the areas of the house, and all with a great attitude. Thank goodness we found him. Details: He arrived right on time and it took about 3+ hours for a single family home, and he went through the roofing, exterior, structure, electrical, heating, cooling, insulation, plumbing, and interior. This included going down under the house as well as into the attic, and took numerous photos of problem spots throughout his explorations. At the end of the inspection, he sat down and walked through all his photos/findings with us and made sure to address any questions that we had in a unbiased and straightforward manner (e.g. not an alarmist but also didn’t downplay problem areas). He also included a guide for home owning maintenance at the end that has good tips. Not only were we impressed, but also our agent and the seller’s agent were too! They even asked for his contact info so they could use him in the future 🙂 Report: Within a couple of days, we received a detailed report. It included all the photos as well as additional reference information around each issue as backup. Price: Very reasonable and for a quality inspection! I’d highly recommend that you go with John if you’re looking for a thorough inspection of your house. You won’t be disappointed!

I can’t say enough about the service provided by City Inspection Inc. Just a great company to hire for your inspection and engineering needs. I used them to structurally inspect a very old house and Isaac offered a ton of advice and had plenty of his own funny stories to share. He inspected the way previous restoration work was done and was able to point out the things he believed they did right vs. wrong. City Inspection Inc would point out areas of concern but also recommend various options in terms of how to fix them. Some were urgent, most were not. But you just don’t get that type of advice from your average home inspection company. This is not your black and white inspection company. City Inspection Inc puts color behind all their recommendations and takes pride on educating their customers. The staff in the office is exceptional as well.
