He was very professional, diligent, and timely with everything from the moment we reached out to him till the moment the report was in our hands. Buying your first home can be an exciting but also a stressful process, especially when it is an old building. For some of us, buying a home is going to be the most expensive purchase we will ever make in our lifetime. My biggest fear was to end up buying a piece of junk. One of my colleagues recommended having Will Decker inspecting the property before giving a final offer. Will was quick to return my phone call and set an appointment to inspect the building. He took his time to go and inspect every inch of the property. At some point he stopped and told me major issues he has found out so far. He gave me the choice to continue with the inspection or stop it. I asked him to proceed and finish the inspection. Any other inspector would not have given me that choice. He gave me a very comprehensive report the next day. The truth is that I do not know anything about plumbing, electricity or most things related to anatomy of a building. I asked Will to meet with me again and go over the report. He accepted and we met a few days later. At the end, I decided not buy the building because it had been neglected for decades and needed a couple of hundred thousands dollars to keep it in good shape. Will help me save thousands of dollars. I would recommend Will services to any person who is about to buy their first, second or third home and I will continue to seek his services in the future.

Will Decker is a seasoned veteran in the home inspection field. The master inspector has seen it all. So, of course, when it was time for my fiancee and I to say goodbye to apartment living, he was the only inspector I wanted on my side. He is thorough: inspected the electrical, checked the date and quality of the furnace, gave recommendations and estimates for repairs, checked the water heater, went into the crawl spaces… it goes on. He even used a thermal imaging camera to check the insulation. His report is easy to follow, with a to-do list summary at the end of it. His meticulous report helped me dodge a bullet on a house that had way too many expensive problems. I highly recommend this leader in his field to anyone looking for a home inspection.
