Mike’s a very honest and personable inspector. We called him to do an inspection on house we were looking at and he steered us clear of a disaster! He pointed out some things that led us to do a little more research on the place. This looking a little deeper showed us that the house was WAY overpriced, had been cheaply “flipped” by a money-hungry realtor. We liked the house but not enough to pay at least $60,000 more than was fair! It was a really tough time dealing with that realtor and Mike was pretty much our rescuer. Now he’s inspected the house we’ve decided to buy and we’re moving in knowing exactly what we’re getting, b/c of his exhaustive and high-quality inspection, reporting and debriefing! I highly recommend him.

Mike did a great job, great attention detail, went through everything with us and explained what was wrong and why it was wrong. He really went above and beyond making sure we know what we are buying. I would highly recommend him and will use him in the future.

That kind of thing is never fun to deal with, but Mike made it bearable and his crew did a good job of it. It’s important I think to follow EPA guidelines on this kind of thing…you need special expertise and equipment to handle it right…and EIIS did it right. Compared to other remediators, the price seemed fair and not blown out because someone is desperate to get things removed and repaired. We would use them again if the need arises.

We knew the house had a few cosmetic issues, we were willing to tackle them. I met with Mike at our perspective home and he began his inspection. I followed Mike throughout the entire inspection and he explained everything he was seeing throughout. He was patient and we had good conversation during the inspection.
