We have developed a Home Inspection report form and a computer-based reporting system which are both sold to inspectors nationwide. We wrote the Home Facts Handbook to explain the basic functions of various house components and inspected items.

This is my third inspection, the second in the Berkshires area, and I’m convinced they are the best at what they do. Scheduling with Lesa, understanding our options and costs were a breeze. Drew and Chris are efficient, professional, and thorough. I highly recommend you be there during the inspection as you’ll learn a lot about how your new home works. We received our inspection same-day and it provided a level of confidence in moving forward. They also provided a manual on most common home issues and how to remedy. I really appreciated this as I know nothing about home mechanicals, etc. It’s also great to know we can ask follow-up questions

I was concerned because the inspection was quicker than any other I’d ever had done, but it seemed to be thorough. I had specifically asked if they routinely go up on the roof to inspect because I’d recently had an inspector Not do that. The person scheduling the appt confirmed they would; however, at inspection time, the inspector said he felt he could see well enough from the ground. I baulked at this, and expressed my concern for the skylights especially, at which point he did go up on the roof as originally agreed.

I am very impressed as I was when I bought my own house 15 years ago and I hired Finn for that home inspection. Not only are they all very professional but very informative during the walk through inspection and make it easy for simple folks like myself to understand what was found and what should be repaired/upgraded/replaced etc. The flip book format was nice to have as well and very easy to read through and have as a keepsake in my reading list for future reference. The report is very informative and makes my life easier in prioritizing repairs and expenses for those repairs. This is excellent concise information to bring to the table when settling an estate or purchasing a home!!
