Initially thought this was a good home inspection but quickly found out that Brad wasn’t very thorough. The power vent on my gas water heater was cut and spliced into a power cord which violates code and creates a serious safety hazard. This was not caught so I had to pay $2000 to replace my water heater within the first month of moving in. When I contacted him to let him know it was missed, received only excuses. When something this obvious was missed, makes me concerned about the rest of the inspection. Would not recommend. Attached are photos of the water heater that was claimed to be inspected. Anyone that knows what they are looking at knows that there are multiple issues here.
I am a first time home buyer, and First-In Home Inspection was suggested to me by both my realtor and a friend who has used them for her inspection. I was not present at the time of inspection due to COVID and scheduling conflicts, however Ron Fast updated me upon arrival and after the inspection provided me with a detailed list as well as photos of the home. I feel confident in the inspection, and could not have asked for a more thorough or detailed inspection.
