I was very, very pleased. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for that type of service. The biggest thing I liked was the detailed report. Most companies just give you a conversation, but this was a 20-paged report that detailed everything they were going to do. Then, they gave me a detailed report of everything that was done.
I moved into this apartment about 3 months ago and since the 2nd week my children were sick with coughs, runny noses and red eyes. After speaking to one of my neighbors they suggested i use Five Boro Mold Specialist to test for mold. I contacted the company and spoke to a very pleasant representative who was able to schedule my inspection the same day i called. When the technicians arrived they were courteous and informative. They showed me on the infrared camera that i had moisture trapped behind one of my walls in my boy’s bedroom and it was due to condensation from the A/C unit.
I contacted Five Boro Mold Specialist to perform a mold inspection in my home, as I was beginning to see black spots in my dining room and there was a musty smell there as well. I noticed it for quite some time but didn’t actually schedule my inspection until myself and my children began to experience various allergies all of a sudden. As we had never suffered from any symptoms previously, I was concerned that it was possibly a result of the mold, especially after my contractor came in to take a look at it and said it may very well be a mold issue.
The people at Five Boro Mold Specialist are the best! A friend was helping me replace the floor in my bathroom when we found mold behind the baseboard. We needed it cleaned up fast because it’s my only bathroom and the claw foot tub had been removed during a week of 90+ degree heat. I was able to text photos of the area to the office and had an inspector on site before the competition even called me back. I was lucky it was a small job and they were able to fit me in the next day. Everyone I worked with was super nice and accommodating and I was back to my bath remodel in no time!

The support team is excellent in scheduling as well as communicating the day of service. This year, team was assigned to my case. They arrived at 9:00am with mask-on and shoe-cover. Very polite and friendly. He took apart the furnace, examined it thoroughly, walked me through the parts, and educated me on what I can do to prolong the life of the furnace. He went up to the attic and told me that the insulation level is low and recommended me to fill it up. He did not hard sell me and even told me that it could be done by myself. And more importantly, he told me how insulation is number 1 on energy saving. (but most likely, I am going to have them do it.) And then, he told me that the wire on NEST was not connecting correctly, and he helped me to fix that. e
