The client will receive a complete detailed report on the condition of the roof. Starting with the slope of the roof and how many layers of shingles are installed . We will identify the type of shingles, an estimate of the age of the shingles, and give an estimate as to the remaining life of the shingles. Along with the shingles, the roof flashings will be examined and evaluated. In conjunction with the roof inspection, our home inspector NJ will detail the condition of any plumbing vents and chimneys. A very important aspect of the roof inspection is the settlement of the roof structure. Settlement with older homes is expected but if the roof has some really low areas, it could be a sign of rafter problems or sheeting wood root. If our Home Inspector NJ sees any of these signs, a thorough investigation will be done to determine the cause of the problem and repair costs. You, the buyer, can depend on our New Jersey Home Inspector.
