GEM Home Inspections is owned by George McBride, a resident of Slinger, Wisconsin. He is national and state certified, having been trained by AHIT (American Home Inspectors Training Institute), a national company offering the industry’s best home inspection training. George has over 30 years of construction experience, including 20 years as an active-duty Air Force base engineering officer. He will be conducting inspections in Slinger, Hartford, West Bend, Germantown, and throughout all of Washington, Waukesha, Ozaukee, and Dodge counties.

As a first time home buyer he made me feel comfortable and confident in the process. My realtor was impressed by how efficient and thorough George was with his home inspection. Setting up the inspection was smooth and easy. George responded quickly to email/text. During the home inspections he pointed out things and how to go about fixing them. My inspection was 3hrs and nothing was missed! I received George’s complete report same day. It was easy to read and understandable along with pictures. I would highly recommend GEM Home Inspections. George made one of more difficult and nerve wreaking processes the best for me!
He was extremely helpful and informative. He shared tips and tricks to help improve certain aspects of our new home as well. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. George is great! He spent ample time taking me through our new house and showed me how to do several home maintenance things that I had not needed to do in our previous home. He took his time and made sure I understood everything he explained. His report and photos were clear and very detailed and well written, so myself and the previous home owners could read easily. All in all, he did an amazing job and I was happy to use him and would highly recommend him to anyone else purchasing a home.
