I’d never bought a house before other than new custom construction, so a thorough and useful home inspection report was essential. He was incredibly detailed— not just “the roof will need to be replaced within 10 years” but “This particular roof tile (picture included in the report) is worn.” Inspector John Hansen talked me through everything he noticed and the report he sent was easy even for a non-construction person to understand and create a prioritized punch list from. I felt 100% better about the risk of buying a house as a result (and indeed, 8 months later, there have been no surprises at all).
Very thorough inspection at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.
