High Mountain Home Inspections

He was on his hands and knees crawling through our 100+ degree attic just to make sure everything checked out. Kory is very detailed and meticulous in his work which is exactly what you want when you are buying a home. He made sure we had all the info about every tiny detail of our house (down to a loose screw on the handrail!). I would recommend Kory and HMHI in a heartbeat! Thanks Kory!

At first, we thought this was a pretty decent inspection. While at our inspection, Kory told us that after we ask for the repairs, he would come back free of charge to ensure that all the fixed were made. When we called him, he tried to charge us an additional $100 to come out, despite telling us multiple times it was at no charge. When we actually moved into the house, we found many more issues. Electrical problems, plumbing problems, and many other overlooked issues that were found after really looking for a moment. These were all indoor and should have been covered by Kory. At the very least, he should have told us about them and recommend a field expert. We also found it weird that he did not inspect the property around our home. We have bought in the past and the gentleman who we previously hired, did a full inspection and for much cheaper(Unfortunately he is retired now). But for the almost $600 we paid, we at least expected him to point out some of these issues. Would NOT recommend. ***EDIT**** After the response from the owner, we would never recommend this company. Not only did they basically state that they did intentionally overlook details of the inspection that would have been important for us to know, they lack basic customer service skills. The things they found, I could have found on my own, they were so obvious.

I felt as though he really cared enough to inspect thoroughly and go through the inspection with as much detail as possible. He communicated well with us and our realtor. He was easy to schedule with and made sure we got our inspection in before due diligence deadline. He even sent videos during the inspection so I could see what was going on! I would highly recommend these home inspectors with any house you are considering. Would use them again without a question
