Home Inspections Northwest, Inspectors
Prior to my professional beginning, I interned under a highly respected local inspector. When state testing began in 1998, I was among the first to pass the state exam for Oregon Certified Home Inspectors (OCHI). I also passed the more prestigious national exam for American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). I regularly attend continuing education classes to keep my knowledge current.
He gave us the complete picture of the house we are looking into buying and laid it out for us in a way that was easy to understand. After speaking with him and looking through the report (with pictures!) we have a clear idea of the things that are safety issues that need to be addressed immediately, the things the could cause damage if not dealt with soon, and the things that are simply not correct but are lower on the list of priorities. We have used Lee to inspect three homes for us so far and are confident that if there is a potential issue, Lee will find it!
Lee made the whole decision process much easier. He was very thorough at explaining all the things he found and his recommendations on how to remedy the problems. We ended up buying a home built in the 40’s and without his expertise we would have hesitated in going forward. The home is beautiful and we feel extra secure knowing that it has been checked out and the electrical & plumbing hazards were corrected as part of our conditions to go ahead on the sale. Thanks Lee!
He was professional, courteous, and on time. He explained everything thoroughly and made it much easier for us to understand the full scope of any needed repairs and made it much easier to prioritize what needed to be addressed now and what could wait. Highly recommended!
