I would highly recommend The Ohio Home Inspections Company and its home inspector, Kevin. My interactions with the office were quick and efficient, and I felt comfortable working with him during the inspection. Kevin quickly determined that the repairs needed for my house were too costly for me. He ended the inspection early and offered me a discount for both the initial inspection and the next inspection. His inspections seemed honest and transparent.
I am a huge fan, but I’ve been disappointed on several occasions when inspections were performed. When I made an appointment to see Kevin, I didn’t expect much. Wow, did he deliver!
It was great to receive an email copy of the report. Before selling my home, I looked at the report from 2012 to fix minor issues that I had not noticed. Overall, there were no major defects in my house over the years. It would give you great peace ofmind to have the inspection report.
After one week, a plumbing issue came up that should have been caught in the home inspection. There have been several plumbing, electrical, and overall issues that weren’t caught during the homie inspection. Nice guy.
Rick inspected our previous home and a home we looked at purchasing – he found water intrusion and foundation issues which wound up being the reason we didn’t proceed with the sale, saving us a lot of money.
The deal was a one week closing (that took place between Christmas and New Years), and Rick dropped everything he was doing to make it happen. He did a great job pointing out all of the potential issues in a calm and understanding manner. I will definitely use his services again!
