It is the same clear, concise, report format and the remarks provide the client easy access to the information. With each digital report, we will send pictures to help distinguish problem areas that may have been found during the inspection.

I just purchased a condo in an older but upscale Upper Arlington development, and my real estate agent recommended Ray Starkey/HomeScan for the inspection. And am I glad she did. Ray could not have been more thorough and more professional. I knew he was going to be good when he showed up (early) with his own “booties,” and he must have changed in and out of those a dozen times during our two-plus hours of inspection. Ray is a large man, but he deftly found his way into every nook and cranny in the place, and he showed great care and respect where called for. He was very patient with me, answering all of my “layman” questions and pointing out potential issues. His final report was spectacular, not just for his findings, but also included dozens of photos. His report was clear and thorough and paid for itself many times over when it came to negotiating remediation with the seller. And Ray may not want me to mention this but he should … he even came back for a second tour during the remediation phase. In summary, Ray is the consummate professional, very comforting to the ill-equipped buyer, and provides a service worth many times his company’s fee.

We have worked with him previously for our home inspections and each time he is punctual, pleasant, and very thorough, which means a lot given the magnitude of purchasing a home. He takes the time to explain his findings and we’ve always felt secure in our home inspection thanks to Ray. Highly recommend!

As a first time home-buyer seeking to purchase an older home it was critical that a thorough and instructive inspection was conducted. Ray not only was easy to talk to and knowledgeable but spent time walking me through each of his observations and explaining next steps. It’s worth noting that he caught several needs that were missed in previous inspections, a true pro. If I could describe my experience with HomeScan and Ray Starkey in three words it would be “Peace of Mind”. Highly recommend!
