Doug was very thorough and honest on both inspections he completed for me. He emphasized teaching me about appliance upkeep which is very appreciated. He pointed out a few very minor issues which I was able to get resolved quickly!
For the second one he also acted as a “project manager,” coordinating other specialist inspectors we employed, and reviewing the construction plans to advise us on the nature and quality of the construction work. This was particularly important as we live out of state and couldn’t be there on inspection day. Doug is a former contractor, so he has hands-on experience with construction. We felt that his reports and analysis were much better than others we have previously received from home inspectors who were not contractors.
His experience means that he can tell you everything you need to know, and you can make confident decisions about buying property. Both his onsite inspection and his extensive written report, complete with photos, are beyond thorough. This is exactly who you want performing this kind of work. Highly recommended.
