Brian Andrews, owner of Inspections Plus, has a diverse background in the residential real estate industry that gives him an advantage over other inspectors. He has been an investor and manager of rental income properties since 2001, and owns several Connecticut rental properties. Brian also has broad experience as a licensed contractor doing major renovation work to existing housing, as well as construction of new homes. His general contracting background and familiarity with building codes and construction practices are very helpful in understanding why certain conditions may exist within a home and how they can be best corrected. Brian has also held mortgage origination and real estate sales licenses, which gives him insight into the buying process and an understanding of how the home inspector can best serve the client’s needs.

Brian was by far the most experienced home inspector and overall better value I have used so far. Brian was booked solid but was able to book me in to complete my home inspection. Brian uses the latest inspection tools and equipment such as drones, and radon testing and many others to get you a quality and easy to read home inspection report. His videos he records on every component of the house helps you recall all the positives and negatives about the house so when it’s time to make an inspection repair request punch out list you can always go back and listen to what he observed and list your requests accurately. He also uses a partner that helps him double check the home and by working together they are able to make the home inspection process much smoother and time efficient.
