Inspector Catch-it Home Inspectors
California Law only requires a Home Inspector to perform a general visual inspection, and does not specify what needs to be inspected. Also, there is no requirement when buying a home to get a home inspection, and it is therefore completely up to the client. This often is to the detriment of the client, who expects a thorough inspection, and if they do not do their research, may only receive a half-hour, three page report (well, a checklist really) from a non-certified inspector.
He arrived early and was very friendly and personable. He took his time and used the whole 3 hours to thoroughly inspect the house from top to bottom. When he was done he went through his findings with us and explained everything in detail. He was knowledge about current laws affecting the property. He emailed the report that same evening! His report included many photos and detailed descriptions including recommendations. It was also color coded based on urgency. This was incredibly helpful for making our repair requests. He was also readily available by phone to answer additional questions we had. He also provided us with a veteran discount. We highly recommend him for anyone buying a home!!
I have been using Dave for years. not only professionally but for my own personal properties. Dave is prompt, through, and professional. I would recommend to anyone who wants quality work at a fair price.
We used him based on the recommendation from our agent and he did a great job! He is very thorough and methodical. He uses the latest inspection techniques and tools and made the entire process very easy. He encouraged me to follow along and ask any questions along the way. We received the report the next morning after the inspection and he provided both an easy to read summary as well as the detailed report with tons of pictures. He has clearly been doing this for a long time and I would easily recommend him to anybody else!
