Thank you for visiting my page. As your home inspector, it is important for me to take both a practical and realistic approach to every property I inspect. Every home has its flaws and it is my job as your home inspector to accurately document each house in its current condition: Both the good and the bad.

In most cases, you should expect an email with the complete written report to be delivered the same day that I visit the house. You can count on thorough communication whether by phone call, text message, or email: my focus is you. I understand that buying a home is a stressful process and it is my goal to alleviate some of that stress by staying in constant contact with you throughout my portion of the process. With your permission, I will communicate my findings with your Real Estate Agent and/or attorneys to help expedite your process and save you some time.

My husband and I bought a home in NY and we were referred to JRS Home Inspections by the realtor. A 100% awesome referral and what a great person Johnathan is. He is very professional and reviews everything he will do during the inspection. He gave his input on things that we didn’t need along with what we did. His reports were easily understood and very detailed. We are very satisfied and feel at ease moving into our home having had him do the inspection.

In the process of selling our home, JRS Home Inspections was hired to inspect the home for the buyer. From setting up a specific time to arrive, to the completion, we appreciated the professional, courteous manner that was displayed and were comfortable leaving our home for the afternoon while a thorough inspection was conducted. We also had a need to have the well water tested. Again, we were impressed and appreciative of the timely manner and prompt communication that was always a part of JRS Home Inspections business practice. Without reservation, we would highly recommend Jonathan Stranges (JRS Home Inspections) to any person in need of his expertise.
