A friend of mine recommended Mark Hooper home inspections, since I will be selling my house and needed an inspection. Mr. Hooper was very professional and to the point. If I need an inspection again in the future with no doubt I will call Mr. Hooper again.

He does a great job explaining all the in’s & outs of the home inspection process. He is very throe and his attention to detail is great. He doesn’t just check a box on a report, he gives a true description of what a possible cause could be if a defect is noticed. He explains what really is an issue to be concerned with and what is merely a cosmetic issue. I have seen many other home inspectors scare buyers by saying for example this water heater is past it’s useful life expectancy. The unit is still running with no mechanical issues. Yet with that statement, the poor inexperienced buyer is concerned and wants the seller to replace it and this can now jeopardize the real estate transaction as there is no issues presently wrong with the unit. Mark will explain in detail if there is a true concern and if there is any issues with the home that he finds, how to fix them cost effectively. The way Mark lays out his report makes it very easy to read and understand. He is available for questions for the consumer at any time even after he does the inspection. His prices are very fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend Mark Hooper Home Inspections to anyone.
