We had Merino’s come out and perform an inspection of my mother’s house before listing it for sale to accurately gauge the price, necessary repairs and set realistic sale expectations. Mike Merino proved to be extremely thorough, professional and knowledgeable. The thoroughness of the report provided a perfect road map to use in communicating with contractors performing the necessary repairs, and allowed the closing process to be smooth and without incident. Add the fact that that they are extremely cost competitive and you have a trusted ally whether your are the buyer, or the seller. I have used Merino’s Home Inspection & Education for three separate home inspections. I continue to go back to Mike because of how incredibly thorough he is. He will be sure to make you aware of every small detail he finds. He doesn’t simply give the house a “once over” and call it a day. He puts in the time and effort to make sure you are getting what you pay for. He is an honest guy running a top-notch business. Mike Merino recently completed our home inspection and I could not be more impressed! He was punctual, prepared, and a fountain of knowledge. He was extremely thorough and covered every inch of the house. He not only inspected, but also talked my husband and I through everything he was doing. He explained the good and the bad and offered suggestions for improvements. He even emailed us videos on things we could do ourselves. His service truly does include an education. As someone who is very detail-oriented myself, I truly appreciated what an amazing job Mike Merino did. I would highly recommend him to anyone purchasing a home.
