Tom is one of a kind. A fantastic inspector. He’s an electrician as well as a contractor so he really knows his stuff. You won’t find anyone better. Very knowledgeable & down to earth.

I have used Tom from the Home Inspection Detective prior to purchasing investment properties. His experience and knowledge in the construction industry is a huge asset for anyone who is purchasing a home. He takes his time to look at all the details and provides excellent advice when sharing the results of the inspection with the customer. I have been a Realtor for over a decade. I have also been a party to hundreds upon hundreds of home inspections. Tom is great at what he does because of the knowledge he has in the construction process. You would think that would be a requirement to be a home inspector right?? it’s not. Tom not only has the construction knowledge, but he is continuously growing by taking additional educational opportunities that he’s not required to take. He is someone who truly cares about his clients and looks out for them the best he can. I have recommended him to clients and other realtors as well. I recently purchased and investment property “as is” and he is the professional I chose to come in and inspect it for me to ensure I’m not walking in to a bunch of unforeseen issues and costs. He is quick to respond, articulate, always on time, does what he says and shoots you straight. I’m not sure what else you can ask for out of any professional you choose to hire. Like I said – not only do I refer him, but I choose to use his services on my own personal properties as well.
