Northwest Michigan Home Inspection Services follows InterNACHI’s code of ethics and standards of practice to ensure you will receive the most accurate report of your future home.
Poor effort inspecting home – worse inspection . Would never recommend. Missed numerous building code violations. – lights – fireplace – stairwell – electric outlets etc. and the list goes on and on. Has no standards or methodical process when inspecting a house. Finding any type of professional contractor in northern MI is scarce. Been in the area for 3 years and we are leaving. Strongly recommend if you need a professional look in TC and nowhere’s else.
Other reviews were false. I would report the reviewers to Google if you cannot contact them or get them to remove the false reviews. They’re costing you money! People don’t realize or even care sometimes about the harm they cause businesses by being reckless online like this.
Tom’s inspection report states blown in insulation was present at a depth of 10” in our attic. We recently renovated the home to make it more energy efficient. New windows, doors, added insulation to cut down the heat bill. Our contractor opened the attic access door while working on some of our electric and called us immediately to let us know we needed to add insulation in the attic, because there was NONE up there. It makes me wonder what else we’ll find that was done poorly on the report as we continue more projects in our up north home.
