Having dedicated my entire life to the Home Inspection industry and building profession including passing (FHA, VA, HUD) Certification, (NACHI) Certification, State Builders License examination, and as the Former columnist writer with the Oakland Press Newspaper as the “Home Inspector”, I stand before the public in excellence proudly holding Title to; “CERTIFIED HOME INSPECTOR”. There is a Huge difference between inspection companies other than pricing, more important are credentials. Back In 1993 when we first started performing home inspections there were only a handful of home inspection companies. Today, void of regulation it’s much different. Unfortunately, there are window installers and even painters calling themselves home inspectors belonging to “fee paid” organizations, usually part time home inspectors.
