Omega Home Inspection

Stuart was extremely courteous, professional, and through with our home inspection. He explained every step to us, answered all of our questions during the inspection, and wrote a top-notch comprehensive report delivered within 24 hours. Thanks to his diligence we left much more knowledgeable about our future property.

Stuart was extremely thorough with the inspection and patiently explained everything to us during the 4 hour inspection. We felt confident furthering our negotiations with the seller, knowing that an experienced and observant inspector had done the check up on our house. The 50 page report (it’s an old house) he provided us included labeled pictures and detailed descriptions and recommendations . He brought a moisture detector to test on any possible leaks and a carbon monoxide detector for the furnace (note that this is not required by 266 CMR). This was our first time buying a house, so I invited my parents to the inspection. My parents have bought several houses and was telling me during the inspection that Stuart was one of the most detailed inspector that they have seen, and will definitely want to work with him on their next house. They are very picky people so that is an impressive comment coming from them. He also responds fast to emails, and is polite and respectful in all the communications despite his extensive knowledge. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a home inspector. (And no I am not being paid for this review, nor do I usually write reviews, he really is one of the best.)

Highly recommend Omega Home Inspections. Stuart is very thorough and goes way above and beyond. He closely inspected his notes and images, and found a potential area of concern in the photos. Then he helped by asking some contractors about the potential issue on our behalf. This made us much more confident in our home purchase.
