I’m a weekend warrior type, so my knowledge base on home repair isn’t incredibly deep, but if there is a job to be done I’ll at least try it. I’m also a busy medical professional with two small kids and the last thing I want is to do is home repair on my precious weekends. That’s why for me, I wanted a good, thorough home inspection. This was my second home purchase in 10 years and my experience from my first was very wanting. Sounds harsh, but I was relieved when I heard that the inspector for the first home had moved far away.
Very well! The inspector was very thourough and explained everything to me as he went through the house. I had the official report the next day.
Went very well. Dewey was very patient in answering all our questions as he was doing the inspection. Explained in detail everything he was checking. We would hire Dewey again if needed. Highly recommended.
Despite the fact that there had been an ice storm which made the roads treacherous, Dewey kept the appointment and called us to warn us to be careful on the roads as he knew we were driving from out of town to meet with him. He was thorough, his report included clear photos and explanations of areas of concern, he took the time to explain his concerns and reassured us that we were buying an overall sound house. We would absolutely use his services again as well as recommend him to friends and family.
Dewey was knowledgeable, pleasant, and efficient. He showed up on short notice the next day. He took the time to explain how everything in the house worked. The reports I received contain his evaluation and description on every aspect of the home. This is my first experience with a home inspection and I couldn’t be happier.
Dewey did a great job – he did a thorough walkthrough of the exterior and interior of the house and supplied a report promptly after the inspection. Dewey showed up on time and did a great job finding the drain field for the septic tank even though it was not an easy task. During the inspection he made sure to explain any issues to me in person and was able to answer all my questions. I have no hesitation recommending Dewey as a home inspector to all my friends and family.
