In the fall of 2001 Steve Lewter, a licensed home inspector, purchased the Pillar to Post Franchise territory encompassing Southern Johnston, Wayne and Wilson Counties of North Carolina. Recently Steve also earned the Certified Real Estate Inspector (CRI) designation from the National Association of Home Inspectors. He has earned the trust of buyers, sellers and real estate professionals and has grown into a well-respected full service Home Inspection Company offering professional home inspections, radon testing and water sampling. The service team includes two full time licensed home inspectors ready to serve you during the real estate process. The team has inspected homes in a variety of neighborhoods, from older historic to new luxury and everything in-between.

I wouldn’t want any other inspector but Steve Lewter! He’s a non-alarmist, and does a great job explaining things to the buyers without making them think the house has to be re-built! A++++

Steve Lewter is professional, experienced and always takes time to explain what he found to buyers and agents. His reports are easy to read and understand. I recommend him to all my fellow agents.

Great experience. Our realtor suggested Steve and he was extremely accommodating and thorough. He explained everything, his report was detailed and easy to understand, and he was very responsive in answering any questions. We could tell he took his time, didn’t rush through the inspection, and we are confident our new home will be that much better because of his hard work. Steve will definitely be our recommendation to friends and family in the future.
