American Association of Home Inspectors Standards of Practice. The American Association of Home Inspectors (ASHI) is the oldest and most respected home inspection society in North America. The state of Pennsylvania requires it’s inspectors to hold membership in a national organization like ASHI.
The Standards of Practice is a detailed document defining the scope of work that the inspector will perform. It includes the specific areas of the home that the home inspector will inspect as well as those areas the home inspector is not required to inspect.

Bill was extremely thorough. He methodically checked everything in our home, documented and took photos when appropriate. We will be well prepared when we meet with our builder for our 11 month walkthrough.
