He has performed over 25,000 home inspections in the Washington DC metro area. Rusty is a 30 year Member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), the oldest and most respected professional society of home inspectors, a member of the International Association of Licensed Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), the largest home inspection association in the world and a Licensed Home Inspector and New Residential Structure (NRS) Inspector by the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Rusty does a great job for all my clients!
It was obvious from the initial conversation with Rusty that he had been inspecting homes in the DC area for decades. I mentioned the neighborhood and he was able to tell me when the house was built and the pros and cons of construction techniques of that era. During the inspection I appreciated being educated about ongoing maintenance and seasonal operation. The inspection report included an upfront executive summary of notable issues with supporting details/photos by section further down in the report. The format and that he basically copy/pasted the summary into the inspection addendum for the seller to fix. Highly recommend Rusty!
He reads a home like Sherlock Holmes reads a crime scene – he will know everything about the place 30 years back by just looking at pipes layout. He has a ton of experience and loves to share it – I will heartily recommend him to anyone.
