Not only are his prices reasonable, his reports are the most thorough I’ve ever seen. Too many inspectors miss things that should have been caught and I’ve had friends lose thousands in repairs after purchasing a home. Scott will take the time needed to fully inspect a property, including taking photos for reference, and write a report that leaves nothing out. If he can’t inspect an area, he notes that limitation. If there is something to be found, Scott finds it and explains it. His follow-up service is incredibly generous, too, and he explains things in a way anyone would understand. I would like to start off by saying this is our 3rd time selling a home which would make this the 6th inspection process for us to go through, and by far, the worst. Scott did show up on time, promptly 15 min before our appointment time and spent about 3 hours inspecting our custom 15 year old home. There are no major issues with our home but he found 78 pages worth of small ones. Thorough is an understatement. He went as far as saying one part of missing transition grout was a safety hazard. The sad part is that we lost the sale on our house and the inspection report has to stay with the sale of our home for potential future buyers to see. He ruined the experience for my family and I and put us in a tough situation. I would not recommend him, even for a buyer, unless you take the report and inspect the issues yourself to realize how minor they are and how blown out of proportion he can make them.
