Trevor brings a lot to the table. He has a long history of looking at buildings and assessing their value. In a past life, he was a Commercial Real Estate agent and ran a Commercial Maintenance Services company in California. He became an inspector in a pretty cool way, if you ask him. He met Steven’s daughter while in California. Eventually they came up to visit and soon they were moving to Washington. Trevor apprenticed and went through a class himself…And HATED it. It was a real bad experience that he didn’t want others to go through.

Besides the materials and in class training, Steve and Trevor are great teachers. Nice classroom setting and easy to get to location is ideal. Take their advice, and study, study, study before taking the state exam, and it will pay off. It did for me. I highly recommend anyone thinking of becoming a home inspector, look no further for training! SGA is the place.

Before I even started the class Trevor was very helpful with all questions that I had and was very quick to respond to texts and calls. Steve and Trevor are very educated in their profession and it shows in their teaching. School hours are reasonable, location is great. I enjoyed their teaching strategy and information they shared. I highly recommend this home inspection school.

I am so glad I decided to enroll at SGA Inspection. I did as much research as I could find to find the right school for me. Steve Abbott and Trevor are a great team for great instruction. Steve has an extensive General contractors experience that allow him to teach us the backgrounds on many regulations of building. Trevor has great business background that helps us to use this new information to organize it and utilize it with business sense.
