Guy Occhino of Sherman Home Inspections is great! He is so thorough, very knowledgeable, and doesn’t miss a thing. He takes his time and it’s worth every penny. I have offers on two more properties and if they are accepted I will be using him for them and future homes. thanks Guy!

Guy Occhino did and inspection for us for an upcoming house purchase. He and his partner Chris were very thorough and professional. They not only pointed out past and likely future issues, but also had a heavy emphasis on safety considerations. They also gave us great detail on annual maintenance requirements, seasonal shut down, and likely future investments we would have to make. It was like getting an operating manual for the new house. They were also willing to take the time to make sure we really understood what we were about to take on. Buying a house is a daunting experience, but I feel a lot better now knowing that Guy and Chris have made suggestions on what to do.

Sherman Home Inspections is great for the first time home buyer or the buyer who has no idea on any of the trades. I hired them to appease my wife and our realtor. Guy was very professional and took his job seriously. A lot of the items identified, I had already noticed and was aware of. I have been around the trades my whole life, so I was aware of what I was buying. I thought the fee was a bit steep, but I am sure that is what the market dictates. I have seen and heard some horror stories over the years, a lot of these “inspectors “ have never worked in the trades, but took a class at their local Community College and are now “experts”! As I said earlier, Guy was very professional and personable. If you feel you need a home inspection, I have no problem recommending Sherman Home Inspections.
