now that he has retired, it is much faster. Setting appointments for over-the-counter plan check really works out for me and I can get permits quickly. They’re fairly stringent about their policy requiring what needs to be shown on the plans, but now that I’ve learned what they want, it’s very easy to work with them and get permitted!
They are the most helpful people I have ever dealt with in any government office. They are extremely generous with their time and answer our questions in great detail. I know more about the permitting process than I ever thought I would need to know. It allows me to oversee my contractors with real information behind me.
