Mark Kearns has been a part of the inspection industry since 1986 and has built a reputation on trust. He founded Specialty Termite, Inc. in 2003, in the former location of the historic Contractor’s Hardware building in Pleasanton. Business was fantastic that first year and since then the company has grown to offer home and roof inspections. A name change to Specialty Inspections followed to better reflect Specialty’s broader services. Several years ago, chimney, pool and sewer inspection services were added.

Recently I had a termite issue at my house and decided to give Specialty Termite a try. I must say I was very impressed with their service. They promptly responded to my request and scheduled an inspection. The inspector was thorough and provided a detailed explanation of the problem and the treatment process. I appreciate their professionalism and expertise. I will definitely recommend them to others!
I had an average experience with Specialty Termite. While they successfully eliminated the termite problem, the overall service was average. The technician was polite but didn’t provide much explanation. However, the treatment was effective, and I haven’t encountered any termites since then.

They do more than inspections. For us they repaired dry rot and rainwater damage to our exterior wall. Javier and his crew were always on time, worked hard, and did professional work. They kept me informed all the time. Their price is reasonable. I have no problem referring them to my friends and I plan to use them in the future for other projects.
