Vince was easy to get a hold of. He arrived on time and fully equipped, did a very thorough job in inspecting the entire property. Pointed out several problems with the property, along with suggestions to fix. Was very helpful in explaining basic tips of home maintenance, etc. The only negative was that he misread the label on the water heater, thinking it was older than it actually was.
Vince was nice to work with, but missed signs of significant garage foundation trouble. This should have been obvious to a professional inspector. The massive crack down the center of the garage was described as needing repair “for aesthetic reasons or sealed off to prevent water intrusion”. In reality, that crack was the pivot point for foundation settling. The stair step cracks on garage foundation walls were described as needing repair “to prevent water intrusion and further deterioration” rather than classic indicators of foundation problems.
I got a home inspection by Vince. He was thorough and courteous and sent me the results within 24 hours. He showed up early and was respectful of COVID mask protocols. He explained each of the items patiently and referred me to any specialists I needed. Highly recommend!
That’s what we discovered shortly after move-in. Totally destroyed floor under the shower pan and water dripping from the ceiling in the living room. Inspector and his insurance company rejected to cover any cost relevant to this damage. Please save your 400 bucks and hire good contractor which will do the same job but for much less.
Vince performed the home inspection on the house we just had an offer accepted. He was very knowledgeable & detailed with his walk-through of the house. He helped us understand what the next steps were in resolving the items he found. Vince was friendly/personable which made the home inspection process more enjoyable.
