Vance Lile, sole proprietor of ‘Three Rivers Team Home Inspections,’ did not display the integrity to stand behind his work. Vance attacks you verbally when you even ask him to come over and look at the damage. I asked him twice… one he called back and said that he had a scheduling conflict and I said we can reschedule for the next day. He called and cancelled the next day, stating that he was not going over to look. Vance then started aggressively asserting that the previous owner must have damaged the shower; I stated that the owner was not living in the house before he inspected and then was accused of damaging it myself. We had not even moved into the house yet. Vance tossed out blame, borderline anger, and I repeatedly told him that I am not mad or angry and that we are not typical looking for blame. We only wanted to talk about the missed damage and possible resolution. I am still not angry, no matter how many targeting jabs he states as he refuses to accept the error he made. If he has business insurance, the insurance adjuster could easily see the damage is a long term result of the previous occupant. His company insurance will correct it. It is not personal… I just wanted Vance to stand by his word, work, and correct. Truth was that If he had only come over and apologized after seeing the damage I probably let it go as human error that we all display, however his semi-aggressive actions now prevent that. A different contractor I asked for a quote on repairing the overlooked damage to the shower stated that he (Vance Lile) should stand behind his work and make it right, as it is simply obvious to anyone who views the shower along with the 16 nails in the floor to hold down the floor. Others who have visited the house state, “how could an inspector miss this?” My question was why did Vance not keep his word and come over to look at the damage… it is still there unpaired.

Vance is very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous .
