Starting January 1, 2015, owners of residential rental properties built before 1978, are required to comply with Maryland’s Reduction of Lead Risk in Housing Act. What does that mean and why is it significant? That means all residential rental properties must undergo mandatory lead paint inspections. Estimates of up to ninety-five percent of the housing units built in Maryland before 1978, contain this product. The purpose of Maryland’s Lead Poisoning Prevention Program is two-fold. First, the focus is the reduction of the incidence of childhood lead poisoning, and secondly maintaining access to affordable, safe rental housing.

I am not a customer of Ken and Total View Home Inspections, however, I do work with this company as one of their vendors. Ken is one of the most humble people I’ve ever met and has an experience that will outdo any other home inspector in Anne Arundel County. As am inspector in the US Military, lives depended on him to ensure the the planes he inspected were ready to fly. The amount of detail he gave on those inspections, he brings when inspecting a home. Ken also works with some of the top listing agents in Anne Arundel county and is a preferred partner of the Chesapeake Real Producers, which are 300 of the top producing agents in all of Anne Arundel County and four surrounding counties. So if you are looking for the best, you just found him. If you’re an agent, this is the company you want to partner with. MY experience with Ken has been top notch!
