In the process of buying a new house, I used this company to do my whole home inspection. Mike is the owner/operator and is fantastic to work with. He was very patient, and spent time with me before the inspection explaining what he was looking for, and the process of Radon testing. Their website was also very helpful with sample reports and a great Qand A section to prepare for the inspection. The day of the inspection he then walked me through the home, pointing out everything he found, and was very honest with me about non-compliance building practices that, even saying and quot; This isn’t the correct way, but 98% of every house has itand quot;, to set the correct expectations for me on what were real issues versus preferences. The report was very thorough, and was received the evening of the inspection, along with easy read and understand.
S Mike was contacted via my realtor after I found reviews and information on his business through Angie’s List and other sites. He was very prompt in responding and scheduling my inspection. He showed up promptly and conducted about a 3-4 hour inspection. The next day the inspection report was forwarded to myself and my realtor in a PDF format.. The report was in depth, and included levels of repair required, so it was very easy to read and understand. You knew which items needed immediate attention, and which items were common, but would need attention in the future and not likely to effect the sale. The report also included color pics as to exactly what was found so you can refer back to it at a later date or to direct contractors to the items needed fast and accurate repair.
Mike showed up on time and performed the inspection in about 3 hours. I showed up prior to realtor coming and Mike and I had a chance to go over the findings together and walk through the house as he pointed out thinks that needed to be fixed rigjht a way or could wait and do in the future. Report was e-mailed to me the next morning and was detailed in its finding along with several pages of photos on what he found and had to be fixed. All repairs needed were noted with the number of the photo so you could see what had to be done. Overall experience was very good and when I go to sell my house I may call him for a presell inspection.
The purchase of a new or existing home is the single largest and most terrifying investment you will ever make. You should feel comfortable with your home inspector so you will learn as much as you can about the overall condition of the property and the need for any major or minor repairs before you invest.
Mike was on time and very professional. He was very thorough and pleasant to work with. We’d definitely recommend him to anyone and would use him again if needed!
