I called about getting an inspection for a house I am in the process of buying and he was able to get to me pretty quickly. He walked through every room of the house looking at everything along the way. He spent plenty of time on site for me to ask any questions I had and when I remembered one the following morning he addressed the concern I had over the phone and went a step further to meet me back at the house to confirm what we talked about. His report came quick and was very thorough and left little for me to question or be confused about. He covered everything we talked about and a couple things that we did not talk about the day of. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know needing a home inspector and I will use him again if I ever need another property inspected.
We had an inspection and everything was going good and the radon read really high and so we had to pay 300 extra dollars for someone to come in and say that the previous inspector put the radon tests on the floor and that it will never get an accurate reading that low. So we wasted $450 in all when our first $150 should have been enough with one correctly done test. I was polite though and called him to see if I could get a refund since a new tester had to come out. I just asked if they did refunds and told him the situation, he got very rude and was telling me it wasn’t his fault and he can’t control how radon changes but his attitude was my problem so unprofessional.
We’ve been checking out other inspectors, their reports and their websites. Nothing comes close to HomeGauge…NOTHING!! You’ve got your act together and we really appreciate it. Thanks again for your help…you’re the best!
